Incredible 24k gold plated & black / red enameled Karl Lagerfeld Paris Metro Necklace. Handmade from the 1990s “Paris Metro” jewelry series, absolutely striking 3 dimensional design.
This is a one-of-a-kind necklace, produced as a design sample for Karl Lagerfeld. While these motifs are seen individually on other pieces from this series, this is the only one made containing all symbols.

Black enameled France Metro sign, Red enameled street sign of 14 Blvd De La Madeleine, half gold / half black enameled Arret 14 Lagerfeld, Shield with Viking ship & Fleur de Lis in black enamel relief, 5 Francs with branches.
16” to 19” adjustable, charms are approx 1” tall. Excellent condition, believe unworn. Shown is the original designer’s sketch ideas for these pieces, we will provide a photocopy of sketch to new owner for this necklace.
As the only example of this necklace ever made, this is a museum grade & investment level piece of fashion jewelry history.
